Job summary

Cirrus Aircraft in Duluth, MN is seeking a Production Technician for Composites or Assembly. You will learn to use hand tools and pneumatic fixtures to assemble parts, following aircraft build instructions and wearing PPE.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, specs, and instructions.
• Knowledge of basic tools and selecting appropriate tool for job.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform assembly tasks in one discipline within 3 months.
• Read engineering drawings and verify part fit, alignment and performance.
• Use bonding, drilling, and holding fixtures; install rivets, screws and bolts.
• Route wires and tubing; torque hardware with appropriate tools.
• Follow build instructions and document work; wear PPE as required.
• Keep workstation organized and clean; learn to mix and apply adhesives.
