Job summary

Cirrus Aircraft is seeking a Production Technician in Composites or Assembly to support aircraft build processes. You will learn to use hand tools and pneumatic fixtures to assemble parts, with responsibilities spanning multiple disciplines within the assembly area.

The role emphasizes adherence to build instructions, safety, and a willingness to learn. Preferred candidates bring five years of related experience and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years related experience or training.
• Experience in manufacturing or military aircraft considered partially relevant.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components per design requirements.
• Troubleshoot aircraft system issues and develop solutions.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Document defects on non-conforming articles or defective parts.
• Set up fixturing for bonding, drilling, and assembly.
• Install rivets, screws and bolts using appropriate tools.
