Job summary

ERM is seeking a Senior Consultant for Air Quality Compliance Engineering or Science in Irvine, CA. The role focuses on advising clients on regulatory compliance, emissions inventories, and permitting strategies across diverse industries.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s in engineering or environmental science, 3+ years of experience, and working knowledge of Title V, RECLAIM, and local air districts, with strong MS Office skills and travel readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or environmental science required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of local, state, and federal air programs (Title V, RECLAIM).
• Regulatory knowledge of local air districts and federal programs.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare emission inventories, permit applications, and compliance reports.
• Conduct regulatory applicability evaluations and implement compliance management systems.
• Perform fieldwork including air compliance assessments and inspections.
• Liaise with regulators and clients to ensure timely permit approvals.
• Promote safety, collaboration, and excellence across projects.
