Geodis USA, LLC is seeking a Senior Account Representative - Air/Ocean Import in Atlanta, GA. You will act as the primary customer service liaison, select carriers, process documents, and manage communications with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth imports by air and ocean.

The role requires experience in customs brokerage or import/export, proficiency with ERP/TMS/WMS tools, and strong communication skills.

Formación

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and manuals
• Proven ability to develop relationships with internal and external customers
• Ability to solve practical problems in a logistics environment

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the customer service liaison between GEODIS and the customer
• Select appropriate carrier and routing based on shipment characteristics or customer requirements
• Process documents and information requests from GEODIS
• Enter notes and documents in Cargowise system
• Coordinate shipping details with overseas agents and offices
• Convert and verify shipment weight and volume and calculate rates
• Assist customers with questions, tracking, and invoicing requirements
• Ensure data accuracy in IRIS and meet timing requirements
