Job summary

Leidos is seeking an AIOps Engineer SME to lead the transformation of ITSM capabilities within Fort Belvoir or Albuquerque, NM. You will design, deploy and manage AIOps solutions to improve reliability and security of DoW networks and systems.

In this role you will chair cross-functional teams, integrate Splunk ITSI with ServiceNow, build ML models with Splunk MLTK, and ensure compliance with DoW STIGs and IL5/IL6. Active Secret clearance is required at hire.

Qualifications

• BS degree or higher with 12–15 years of experience or MS with 10–13 years.
• Active Secret clearance at hire and ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Active IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CySA+, GSEC, or SSCP) required.
• US Citizenship is required.
• 7+ years of experience with Splunk Enterprise (architecture, clustering, SPL).
• 3+ years of experience implementing AIOps workflows with ITSM integrations (ServiceNow).
• Experience building and tuning ML models in Splunk MLTK.
• Advanced scripting in Python for custom search commands and automation.

Responsibilities

• Cross-Functional Leadership: liaison to Network Engineering, ServiceNow, and SolarWinds teams to unify telemetry pipelines.
• ITSM Orchestration & Automation: architect closed-loop remediation by integrating Splunk ITSI with ServiceNow modules.
• Mission-Critical Observability: design and maintain Splunk AIOps across unclassified and classified enclaves.
• Infrastructure Telemetry Integration: correlate SolarWinds data with server and application logs for enterprise health.
• Advanced ML Development: deploy ML models via Splunk MLTK to detect anomalies and threats.
• Secure Data Integration: build secure data ingestion pipelines from cross-domain sources and edge devices.
• Incident Reduction: use ITSI to correlate events and prioritize mission-critical alerts.
• Cyber Defense Support: work with CSSP to feed AIOps insights into defensive cyber operations.
