Job summary

Leidos is seeking an AIOps Engineer SME to lead the transformation of ITSM capabilities and design, deploy, and manage AIOps solutions for DoW networks and systems at Fort Belvoir or Albuquerque. Active Secret clearance and TS/SCI eligibility required. Require Splunk ITSI, ServiceNow, SolarWinds experience and ML development using Splunk MLTK.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, secure data integration, and compliant documentation across unclassified and classified environments.

Qualifications

• Education: BS or higher with related experience; Master’s possible.
• Clearance: Active Secret at time of hire and ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Certification: Active IAT Level II (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, GSEC, SSCP).
• Citizenship: United States Citizenship required.
• 7+ years with Splunk Enterprise (architecture, clustering, SPL).
• 3+ years implementing AIOps workflows with ServiceNow ITSM integration.
• Experience building ML models with Splunk MLTK.
• Scripting: Python or similar for automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to unify telemetry pipelines.
• Architect closed-loop remediation using Splunk ITSI and ServiceNow.
• Maintain Splunk AIOps across unclassified/classified enclaves.
• Integrate SolarWinds telemetry with server and app logs.
• Develop ML models with Splunk MLTK for anomaly detection.
• Engineer secure data ingestion from cross-domain solutions.
• Reduce incident noise by correlating multi-source events.
• Collaborate with CSSP to support cyber defense operations.
• Document architecture and ensure DoW STIG/IL5/IL6 compliance.
• Stay current on DoD, federal, and intelligence mission capabilities.
