Job summary

Leidos is seeking an AIOps Engineer SME to design, deploy, and manage AIOps capabilities for critical mission operations in a secure environment at Fort Belvoir or Albuquerque, NM. You will lead cross-functional teams to automate incident response and unify telemetry with Splunk, ServiceNow, and SolarWinds.

The role requires an active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility, 7+ years with Splunk, and hands-on ML development using Splunk MLTK.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance at time of hire with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• 12–15 years of relevant experience or 10–13 with a Master’s degree.
• 7+ years with Splunk Enterprise, architecture, and SPL.
• 3+ years implementing AIOps workflows with ServiceNow integration.
• MLTK experience: building/testing/tuning ML models.
• Scripting in Python for automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AIOps platform initiative across Network Engineering, ServiceNow, and SolarWinds teams.
• Architect closed-loop remediation workflows using ITSI and ServiceNow modules.
• Maintain Splunk AIOps across unclassified and classified enclaves.
• Integrate telemetry from SolarWinds with logs for a holistic enterprise view.
• Deploy ML models with Splunk MLTK to detect anomalies and threats.
• Engineer secure data ingestion from cross-domain solutions.
• Reduce incident noise and prioritize high-impact mission alerts.
• Ensure compliance with DoW STIGs and IL5/IL6.
