Job summary

Leidos seeks an AIOps Engineer SME to lead a DoD-grade ITSM and observability initiative from Fort Belvoir or Albuquerque, NM. You will design, deploy, and manage AIOps solutions aligned with DoW security standards to ensure mission-critical reliability.

You will orchestrate cross-team integrations, apply ML via Splunk MLTK, and drive automated remediation in secure enclaves, with a focus on high availability and cyber defense collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance at hire and ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• 7+ years of Splunk Enterprise design, clustering, SPL experience.
• 3+ years delivering AIOps workflows with ITSM integrations (ServiceNow).
• Proven ML experience with Splunk MLTK in supervised/unsupervised models.
• Strong scripting skills (Python) for automation and remediation tasks.
• Experience in DoD/NOC/SOC environments and high-assurance operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead AIOps platform initiative across engineering, ServiceNow, and SolarWinds teams.
• Architect closed-loop remediation workflows and ITSM event management integration.
• Develop Splunk ITSI to reduce noise and improve mission-alert prioritization.
• Integrate telemetry from cross-domain solutions and tactical edge devices.
• Collaborate with CSSP to align AIOps insights with cyber defense operations.
• Ensure compliance with DoW STIGs and IL5/IL6, document architecture and traceability.
