Job summary

Inovalon seeks a Senior Web Designer & Developer to design, ship, and maintain AI-powered applications and agentic systems. You will work across Python backends and TypeScript/React front ends (Next.js) to deliver integrated marketing tech solutions in collaboration with Marketing and Sales teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive experience building and shipping production software and digital experiences.
• Production Python expertise: services, APIs, scripts, and data pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript with React, including Next.js.
• Hands-on experience building agentic systems with CrewAI, Mastra, LangGraph, or LangChain (multi-agent orchestration).
• Experience with LLM API integration, prompt engineering, and evaluation of output quality.
• Marketing technology background with Marketo preferred, Salesforce, GA4, and tag management.
• WordPress proficiency to own extensions: PHP 8+, MySQL; deeper WP knowledge welcome.
• Ability to write clean, semantic HTML and modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid); Tailwind/Bootstrap familiarity.
• Experience creating and maintaining a design system and component library.
• Strong Postgres/MySQL fundamentals; performance tuning.
• Accessibility expertise with WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA.
• Git workflows, CI/CD, Docker, and deployment to hosts; CDN and caching.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development tools and responsible usage.
• Public portfolio with shipped agentic/AI-powered projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship production AI features and agentic systems, including multi-agent orchestration, tool and function calling, RAG, memory management, and human-in-the-loop flows.
• Build with CrewAI, Mastra, LangGraph, LangChain; integrate with LLM APIs and MCP servers; choose frameworks contextually.
• Establish evaluations, tracing, monitoring, and guardrails to improve output quality, latency, and cost.
• Maintain and extend the internal agent fleet and apps used by Marketing and Sales.
• Write production Python: services, APIs, data pipelines, and automations between systems.
• Build performant front ends in TypeScript and React, using Next.js in various contexts.
• Design and implement scalable design systems and component libraries.
• Optimize Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse with code-splitting, image optimization, caching, and server tuning.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines and manage code reviews, branching, and releases with Git.
• Harden security with least-privilege roles, secret management, WAF/CDN rules, and OWASP Top 10 mitigations.
• Integrate marketing tech stack: Marketo, Salesforce, GA4, tag management, data flows, consent.
