Job summary

Optum Technology’s Avery Voice team is redefining patient experience with conversational AI. We build generative voice agents using Bedrock tools and LLMs from Amazon, OpenAI, and Anthropic. This role offers the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.

as you tackle challenging healthcare AI problems. You will design, develop, and deploy AI-powered voice solutions, integrate LLMs, and maintain scalable APIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of programming and SDLC experience.
• 2+ years of web service API development.
• 2+ years in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
• 1+ year building apps with LLMs or generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered voice solutions with responsible AI
• Integrate and fine-tune LLMs to improve voice bot capabilities
• Architect and maintain scalable cloud-based services and APIs for real-time voice interactions
• Use enterprise AI tools to streamline development and drive lifecycle improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user requirements into specs for AI agents
• Evaluate trends in conversational AI to inform design and innovation
• Monitor and optimize voice bot performance for accuracy and routing
• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions with emphasis on responsible AI
