Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior/Lead Software Engineer to join the Office of the CEO in the AI Trust and Governance engineering team. You will drive technical direction for scalable, cloud-native services and mentor engineers across architecture and platform disciplines.

You'll lead design for highly concurrent, distributed systems, partner with Data Cloud and AI Platform teams, and own features end-to-end from concept to deployment while upholding Salesforce's core values and security standards.

Qualifications

BS or higher degree in Computer Science.
4+ years industry experience in system or database internals programming.
4+ years technical leadership in architecture and design of enterprise server platform or systems.
Deep expertise with distributed systems and consensus algorithms.
Experience with highly concurrent multi-threaded/multi-process data structures and design.

Responsibilities

Set the technical direction for core and near-core systems.
Mentor engineers and lead architecture decisions.
Design new architecture to solve complex scalability problems and build scalable, cloud-native services.
Take features end-to-end and drive design and architecture decisions.
Lead release and deployment processes and collaborate across teams.
