Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape AI-powered travel experiences at scale. You will own the end-to-end design from framing opportunities to launch, translating AI capabilities into intuitive and trustworthy experiences for travelers.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Content Design to ensure design quality and accessibility, while influencing roadmaps with customer insights.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, UX, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in product design, UX design, interaction design, or related discipline.
• Portfolio demonstrating shipped digital products and strong foundation in interaction design, visual design, and customer-centered problem solving.
• Expertise in at least one core design discipline (interaction or visual design) with strength across prototyping, research, information architecture, or UX writing.
• Experience designing complex product experiences with cross-functional stakeholders including Product, Engineering, and Data Science.
• Understanding of how AI-powered experiences should communicate confidence, uncertainty, recommendations, limitations, and failure states.
• Ability to simplify ambiguity and articulate design rationale to engineers and senior leaders.
• Proficiency with Figma and contribution to shared design systems and scalable components.

• Design end-to-end AI-powered shopping experiences from framing to launch and iteration.
• Translate complex AI capabilities into intuitive, transparent experiences for travelers.
• Design across conversational, visual, and multimodal interfaces to support various decision-making styles.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, Researchers, and Content Designers to introduce AI capabilities.
• Balance traveler needs, business outcomes, and technical opportunities while navigating AI limitations.
• Prototype, learn, and iterate with real AI outputs and evolving tech to refine interactions.
