Job summary

McKinsey is seeking a senior leader to shape and deliver AI-enabled transformation for industrial ecosystems. You will counsel client service teams, shape AI agendas, and architect AI acceleration programs across automotive, machinery, aerospace, and more.

You will drive end-to-end delivery—from use-case shaping to deployment—partnering with client leaders to ensure measurable value and durable adoption. Strong leadership and cloud/data expertise are required, with substantial travel expected.

Qualifications

• Deep experience applying AI and analytics to industrial sectors.
• 7+ years of data science and AI implementation experience in client-facing or senior stakeholder settings.
• Designing and scaling modern AI solutions, including production-grade ML and agentic AI approaches.
• Experience with data migrations or IT transformations and enterprise CRM/ERP systems.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering and analytics teams.
• Fluency with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern AI/data stacks.
• Willingness to travel 40-80%.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with clients.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients, shape AI agendas, and architect AI acceleration programs.
• Translate strategy into production-ready AI solutions and drive execution with client teams.
• Lead end-to-end delivery from use-case shaping to deployment and adoption.
• Build scalable data foundations (data architecture, MLOps, governance, security).
• Mentor and develop QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey practitioners across industries.
• Oversee multiple deployments and high-profile client work within Advanced Industries.
