Job summary

McKinsey & Company in Detroit region seeks a senior leader to drive AI enabled transformation across industrial ecosystems, partnering with client teams to shape AI agendas and deliver scalable, secure AI platforms.

You will lead end‑to‑end AI programs, align stakeholders, and establish measurable value, mentoring QuantumBlack and AI practitioners while delivering business impact for clients across automotive, machinery, aerospace and more.

Qualifications

• Deep experience applying AI and analytics to industrials with hands‑on data/tech understanding.
• 7+ years applying data science and AI to drive business impact in client settings.
• Experience designing and scaling production‑grade AI solutions, including generative AI.
• Experience with data migrations or IT transformations and CRM/ERP systems.
• Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary engineering/analytics teams.
• Strong cloud expertise (AWS, GCP, Azure) and fluency in SQL, Python.
• Willingness to travel 40‑80%.
• Strong communication and collaboration with clients.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients, shape AI agendas, and architect AI acceleration/transformation programs.
• Translate strategy into production‑ready AI solutions and drive execution with client teams.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery from use case shaping to deployment and adoption.
• Build scalable data foundations (data architecture, MLOps, governance, security).
• Mentor QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey practitioners and other teams across industries.
• Work with senior clients on digital, technology, and analytics topics.
