Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG in Jersey City seeks a Senior Applied AI Full-Stack Engineer to own end-to-end web platforms using Java/Spring Boot and Angular. You will leverage AI agents to accelerate delivery, ensure security and scalability, and coach others in AI-first development.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot for building scalable microservices.
• Strong experience with Angular 19+ and web front-end technologies (TypeScript, HTML5, CSS).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and data modelling.

Responsibilities

• Design and build large-scale web applications on microservices architecture.
• Lead system design with artefacts like sequence/class diagrams and data models.
• Incorporate AI coding agents for code generation, debugging, and task automation.
• Review and validate AI-generated code for security and production readiness.
• Integrate agentic workflows into CI/CD pipelines and manage multiple workstreams.
• Coach junior engineers to adopt AI-first practices and improve team capability.
