U.S. Bank is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain AI-enabled software experiences. The role emphasizes collaboration within a cross-functional team and adherence to DevOps and Agile practices.

The candidate will build scalable AI applications with Python, deploy to production, and support cloud platforms on Azure and AWS, ensuring secure, reliable delivery of AI-powered features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Generative AI applications using LLMs, RAG architectures, and prompt engineering techniques.
• Build and support AI workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, and Microsoft Foundry Agent Services.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to design, develop, test, and deploy AI-enabled solutions.
• Develop scalable applications and APIs using Python and microservices-based architectures.
• Assist with deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of AI applications in production.
• Support cloud-based AI solutions across Azure and AWS platforms with security and ops best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containerization, and infrastructure automation.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and Agile delivery processes.
