Job summary

Gap Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager, AI Tech Ops to own the operational backbone of the company’s expanding enterprise AI tools.

The role provides technology-operations ownership for license lifecycle management, seat provisioning, platform administration, and ongoing support including the AI help desk. You will ensure platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT Enterprise, Copilot, Fal.AI, GapGPT, and future AI services are supported as adoption grows.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in technology-operations, SaaS-operations, platform-administration, or enterprise-support leadership.
• Experience with license lifecycle management, access provisioning, and operational process design.
• Comfort managing multiple enterprise technology vendors and platforms simultaneously.
• Strong discipline with controls, documentation, and service quality.
• Experience using metrics and reporting to improve operational performance.
• Experience creating operational processes for newly introduced enterprise technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own operational processes for enterprise AI tools across their license and access lifecycle.
• Manage seat provisioning, deprovisioning, access changes, and related workflows.
• Establish consistent support and administration practices across a multi-vendor AI portfolio.
• Responsible for token implementation and related compliance standards.
• Maintain visibility into licenses, access, usage, issues, and platform status.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Create scalable processes that reduce manual administration as adoption grows.
• Partner with Information Security, identity/access teams, and stakeholders on access and requirements.
• Develop service metrics, reporting, documentation, and controls for AI platforms.
• Identify recurring issues and automate or simplify processes where appropriate.
