Edison Scientific, Inc. is hiring a Senior Talent Sourcing Specialist to own top-of-funnel recruiting for AI scientists, engineers, and computational biologists. This contract role starts with sourcing and screening before roles open and can grow into full-cycle ownership.

This role is ideally on-site at our San Francisco, New York, or Boston offices, with remote options for the right candidate. You will report to the Talent Acquisition Leader and influence hiring strategy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting or sourcing with outbound pipeline focus.
• Proven track record engaging passive candidates and converting them.
• Capture and utilize data to influence stakeholders.
• Strong talent intuition and ability to explain why candidates are pursued.
• Experience in fast-moving, early-stage environments with evolving roles.
• Excellent candidate relationship skills and responsiveness.
• Organized and metric-driven with funnel tracking.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Own top-of-funnel across critical roles (AI engineering, applied science, computational biology, forward-deployed engineering, GTM, etc.).
• Build and maintain warm pipelines before roles open and coordinate candidates through the process.
• Develop AI-first sourcing strategies beyond LinkedIn Recruiter results.
• Run high-volume, high-quality screens that deliver actionable signals to hiring managers.
• Keep candidates excited about Edison Scientific throughout the process.
• Partner with hiring managers to calibrate on what great looks like and move fast when right.
• Use pipeline metrics and market data to identify gaps and adjust strategy.
• Advise the recruiting team and maintain a strong candidate experience.
• Handle project management, interview scheduling, and process improvements as needed.
