Job summary

EY seeks an AI Systems Engineer to own the stateful backbone of EY’s AI-native platform, spanning relational, vector, graph, and object storage across cloud, on‑prem, edge, and air‑gapped environments. This role emphasizes durability, consistency, and recoverability for agentic AI workloads, with streaming/CDC pipelines and schema governance to protect data contracts across services.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise operating production data stores at scale (relational, vector, graph, object storage).
• Experience with streaming and event-driven architectures and CDC.
• Durability, recoverability, and data correctness in regulated contexts.

Responsibilities

• Own memory and data stores across environments (PostgreSQL, Redis, vector stores, graph DBs, object storage).
• Own event streaming and async messaging (Kafka, NATS, Debezium, Flink).
• Ensure durability, consistency, and recoverability with cross-environment data movement.
