Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services that underpin enterprise-scale data science workflows. You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to deploy models using AWS SageMaker and Azure ML, while enhancing model lifecycle management and observability.

The role emphasizes API design, performance optimization, and CI/CD within distributed cloud environments.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of software engineering experience, IC role.
• Expertise in AI/ML systems including development, training, deployment.
• Design and maintain scalable backend systems in distributed environments.
• Secure, high-performance APIs (REST and/or gRPC).
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Profiling, troubleshooting, and optimizing backend performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for data science workflows.
• Collaborate to deploy models on AWS SageMaker and Azure ML.
• Enhance model lifecycle management and monitoring capabilities.
• Develop data science catalog for resource discovery and discoverability.
• Lead performance optimization and CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to deliver reliable solutions.
