Job summary

Wolters Kluwer is seeking an Associate Director to lead hands-on strategy and analytics for accelerating responsible AI adoption. You will translate ambiguous questions into rigorous, evidence-based answers, define KPIs, and build driver-based financial models to quantify value across the enterprise.

The role partners with Finance, Data, Technology, HR, and business owners to determine where AI can improve performance and to build the baselines and dashboards required for investment decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, analytics.
• 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, strategic finance, transformation, performance improvement, or a similarly rigorous analytical environment.
• Experience developing analytical models, defining KPIs, establishing performance baselines, assessing business opportunities, and translating operational improvements into financial impact.
• Demonstrated experience synthesizing complex information from multiple sources and developing senior-management recommendations.
• Experience in B2B technology, software, information services, or professional services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and diagnose high-value opportunities by partnering with functional leaders, process owners, and frontline experts to understand current workflows and AI-enabled redesign opportunities.
• Conduct business and process diagnostics to identify bottlenecks, costs, delays, capacity constraints, quality issues, risk, or lost revenue.
• Quantify value by building driver-based models translating changes in performance into financial and strategic outcomes.
• Develop rigorous, directional business cases for priority AI opportunities considering value, feasibility, investment, risk, readiness, adoption, and complexity.
• Build enterprise AI value view by aggregating analyses into a transparent view of expected and realized AI value.
• Generate executive insight and recommendations and lead analytical workstreams from problem definition through recommendation.
