Job summary

Publicis Groupe in New York is seeking a Senior Associate, AI Strategy to design and ship AI agent and skill systems on the platform. You will work hands-on with engineers and cross-functional partners to translate business processes into production-ready AI components.

Responsibilities include building AI-native platform capabilities, agent orchestration, retrieval pipelines, and bringing prototypes through the full software lifecycle, from prototyping to deployment and iteration.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of professional software engineering experience with hands-on exposure to AI/ML systems (LLMs, agents, RAG, or applied AI applications).
• Experience deploying AI-powered features or services in production or near-production settings.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Java or TypeScript, plus hands-on experience with AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, PyTorch).
• Experience with at least one cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data/ML tooling.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical design and implementation of vertical-specific AI systems, translating requirements into working AI workflows and components.
• Build and deliver AI-native platform capabilities, including agent orchestration, retrieval pipelines, and monitoring tooling.
• Prototype and extend engineering capabilities, delivering solutions with guidance from technical leads.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Delivery teams to clarify requirements, estimate effort, and deliver on priorities.
• Support demos and proof-of-concept work for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle for AI systems, from prototyping to deployment.
