Publicis Groupe is seeking a hands-on technical leader to design and deliver AI applications at scale, shaping enterprise products that turn data into better decisions. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to move ideas from prototype to production.

You will guide model selection, implement safeguards, and drive responsible AI practices while mentoring engineers and delivering robust, scalable software in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including AI/ML work.
• Evidence of shipping AI-enabled software and your technical contributions.
• Strong backend programming, API design, testing and cloud deployment.
• Hands-on experience with language models, retrieval augmented generation, embeddings.
• Experience with evaluation, observability and AI behavior improvements.
• Proficiency with AI coding assistants; strong technical judgment and degree or equivalent.
• Ability to work with AI and ensure safe, robust implementations.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver AI applications using language models, retrieval, structured outputs and tool‑calling workflows.
• Connect AI capabilities to enterprise data, APIs and services through reusable, well‑tested components.
• Build evaluation datasets and automated checks for accuracy, task completion, security and failure behavior.
• Choose models and implementation approaches using measured quality, latency, cost and maintainability.
• Implement appropriate permissions, human review and safeguards for agent actions, including prompt‑injection resistance and safe failure.
• Instrument application traces, feedback and production performance; version configurations and support regression testing and rollback.
• Use AI coding agents throughout development, share effective practices and remain accountable for the code and systems delivered.
• Collaborate with researchers, data engineers and product teams; mentor engineers and own delivery from prototype through production.
