Job summary

Atlan is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer for North America to drive the technical wins on strategic enterprise deals. You will partner with Account Executives, run discovery with AI teams and architects, and design production-ready solutions that go beyond demos.

You’ll build POCs, demos and prototype agents while adapting to rapid product changes. You are a hands-on builder with 5+ years in customer-facing roles, experience with LLMs and agents, and a high tolerance for ambiguity, aiming to

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (FDE, SE, Solutions Architect or founding engineer).
• Background in data science, ML or data engineering to relate to buyers' problems.
• Hands-on work with LLMs and agents, understanding data retrieval and context.
• You are a builder who engages with customers during the sales cycle, not only post-sales.
• High agency, comfort with ambiguity and good judgment on what’s worth building.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical win on Atlan’s strategic enterprise deals, partnering with Account Executives.
• Conduct discovery across AI teams, data platform teams and enterprise architects in the same deals.
• Design solutions that prove production-ready value beyond demos.
• Hands-on building: POCs, demos, prototype agents and custom tooling.
• Keep pace with the evolving Agentic Development Lifecycle and product changes.
