Databricks seeks a Sr. Solutions Engineer to shape the future of big data by partnering with premier data engineering and data science teams.

You will collaborate with customers, product teams, and the broader customer-facing team to develop architectures using our platform and APIs, guiding them through best practices and implementations. You will lead technical engagements with sales, design end-to-end data solutions across data engineering, data science, and ML workflows, and evangelize

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data engineering, data science, technical architecture, or similar pre-sales/consulting role.
• Experience building distributed data systems.
• Comfortable programming in Python and SQL.
• Built solutions with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in Spark, Hadoop, Kafka; data science tools like pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow.
• Available to travel to customers in your region.
• Degree in a quantitative discipline (CS, Applied Math, OR).
• Databricks Certification is a nice-to-have.

Responsabilités

• Partner with the sales team and provide technical leadership to help customers understand how Databricks can solve business problems.
• Consult on Big Data architectures, implement proofs of concepts for strategic projects across data engineering, data science, ML, and SQL workflows, and validate cloud integrations.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects to support customers and fellow team members.
• Promote and recruit for Databricks-inspired open-source projects (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow) across the developer community.
