Job summary

Databricks Inc. is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect on the AI native team to shape the future of the big data landscape by collaborating with top data engineering and data science teams. You will partner with the sales team and customers to design architectures using our platform and APIs.

You will guide customers through best practices, perform proof-of-concepts, validate integrations across cloud services, and help foster Databricks open-source communities around Spark, Delta Lake, and MLflow.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data engineering, data science, technical architecture, or pre-sales/consulting.
• Experience building distributed data systems.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in Spark, Hadoop, Kafka.
• Willingness to travel to customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership with the sales team to help customers understand Databricks solutions.
• Consult on Big Data architectures and implement proof-of-concepts for strategic projects.
• Collaborate with fellow Solutions Architects and support users.
• Promote and recruit contributors for Databricks open-source projects (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow).
