Job summary

Appian is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Customer Success team. You will engage with customers post-sales to develop software solutions on the Appian platform, guiding projects through the full life cycle from design to implementation in an agile environment.

You’ll brainstorm AI use cases, apply Appian’s AI tools such as retrieval augmented generation and agentic workflows, and collaborate with client teams to drive adoption.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on software development or technical consulting.
• B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related field/degree.
• Willingness to travel; 20% or less annually to support customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers post-sales to define, design, develop and implement Appian solutions.
• Lead projects through full software life cycle in an agile environment.
• Collaborate with client teams to gather functional and technical requirements.
• Drive adoption by enabling clients to build process applications themselves.
