Job summary

FastTek Global seeks a Principal Engineering AI Solution Architect in a hybrid role based in New Britain, CT to shape AI initiatives within Engineering for physical product development. Qualifications

• 10+ years in product engineering or embedded systems
• 5+ years applying AI/ML to physical products and workflows
• Experience deploying AI/ML in production environments including embedded/edge platforms
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of ML algorithms, data engineering, and MLOps

Responsibilities

• Architect AI-driven solutions embedded in the product engineering lifecycle (CAD/PLM data, embedded firmware, controls development, test/validation)
• Develop digital twins and surrogate models connecting CAE data with AI to accelerate design
• Define solution requirements and technical specs with cross-functional teams
• Build AI capabilities for engineering shared services (workflows, reliability analytics, simulation-assisted design)
• Coordinate end-to-end AI project delivery from ideation to deployment and monitoring
• Guide teams on AI/ML model integration, data pipelines, and cloud deployment strategies
• Develop and maintain AI roadmaps for engineering
• Ensure data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance in AI solutions
