Job summary

Fasttek is seeking a Principal Engineering AI Solution Architect to shape AI initiatives within our product engineering organization. You will lead AI-enabled design, validation, and deployment for mechatronic systems, integrating AI into CAD/PLM workflows, embedded firmware, and control strategies.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering experience with AI in real products, cloud platforms, and edge deployments. A collaboration-heavy, hybrid work environment awaits in the engineering division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or computer science.
• 10+ years of experience in product engineering or embedded systems development.
• 5+ years applying AI/ML to physical or engineered products.
• Experience deploying AI/ML in production, including edge platforms.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of ML algorithms, data engineering and MLOps.

Responsibilities

• Architect AI-driven solutions embedded in the product engineering lifecycle.
• Develop digital twins and surrogate models to accelerate design iterations.
• Define requirements and specifications with cross-functional teams.
• Build AI capabilities for automated workflows and design analytics.
• Guide teams on AI model integration, data pipelines, and cloud deployment.
