Xometry is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to drive a flagship embedded partner integration, extracting core AI engines and embedding them into enterprise ecosystems. You will lead architecture, guide engineering teams, and ensure scalable, secure data flows with sub-second AI latency in design environments.

The role demands 8–12+ years of experience, strong Python, React/TypeScript, and AWS expertise, plus a deep architectural background in microservices and enterprise-grade integrations.

Qualifications

8–12+ years of professional software development experience.
Experience in leading complex, multi-quarter initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead discovery, architectural design, and adoption of embedded partner integration.
Define and enforce patterns for native 3D geometry data flows and real-time AI insights at design-time.
Mentor engineers and drive cross-team decision-making on secure, scalable integration architectures.
Own reliability and security of embedding microservices and ensure click-to-buy workflows work end-to-end.
