Job summary

Future Electronics’ Advanced Engineering Group seeks a Senior Edge AI Field Applications Engineer to lead technical design support for Edge AI solutions in embedded systems. You will guide customers from concept to production, advise on hardware choices, implement AI models, and optimize performance across embedded platforms.

Working with the Advanced Engineering team, Sales, and suppliers, you’ll drive regional growth and accelerate adoption of Edge AI technologies while staying current with

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (required)
• 5–10 years of experience in the electronics industry
• Strong background in Edge AI design, AI model creation, deployment and optimization
• Hands-on with neural networks, edge inference, AI accelerators, vision processing, power/performance optimization
• Experience with Edge AI processors, development tools, software frameworks, and deployment ecosystems is highly preferred
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Leadership skills with ability to influence technical strategies

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support for Edge AI system design, AI model development, and deployment
• Partner with suppliers and customers to deliver high-value technical solutions and support qualified opportunities
• Support hardware selection, AI model optimization, benchmarking, and real-time edge inference implementation
• Conduct training sessions on Edge AI technologies, tools, and development frameworks
• Assist in developing Edge AI demonstration platforms and proof-of-concept solutions
• Build strong relationships with supplier and customer engineering teams
• Represent Future Electronics in customer-facing technical and sales activities
• Stay current with emerging Edge AI technologies, products, and industry trends
• Prioritize technical opportunities to maximize business impact and customer success
