Job summary

Smartsheet is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer (AI) to build AI-powered features across our platform. Work with Java, JavaScript, React, AWS and AI frameworks to design prompt workflows, automate tasks, and improve usability.

You will test, iterate, and document AI-driven capabilities while collaborating with product and design teams. Role is 100% remote within the United States; reports to the Bellevue, WA HQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building web UIs with HTML, CSS, React and Redux; testing and API work.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-enabled features and prompt workflows for the product.
• Collaborate with PMs and designers to enhance AI integration.
• Design, implement, and test AI-driven functionality and workflows.
• Document implementations, decisions, and development processes.
