Job summary

T. Rowe Price Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale production-grade AI agents and intelligent systems that solve complex business problems.

You will lead technical workstreams, incubate new AI products, and partner with business-aligned technology teams to enable broader adoption at scale. This is a hands-on role for an experienced engineer with strong software fundamentals and practical AI engineering experience.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on development in Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with AI-enabled applications and modern AI engineering patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design and delivery of production-grade AI agents and systems.
• Lead technical workstreams and incubate new AI products.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering patterns across teams.
• Evaluate and apply AI technologies to deliver business value.
