Qualifications

• 7-10 years of software engineering experience with production use of AI-assisted/agentic development.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and sustainment of secure, scalable production software using AI coding agents across database, service, and application layers.
• Orchestrate multiple agents and parallel workstreams by decomposing complex features into well-scoped tasks with clear context, constraints, acceptance criteria, and verification plans.
• Design and maintain the team's agentic development environment including project context files, reusable prompts, custom commands, hooks, MCP server integrations, and CI/CD guardrails.
• Set the standard for AI-generated code by validating output through automated testing, code review, security checks, performance measurement, and HIPAA compliance.
• Lead integrations with third-party AI platforms, LLM APIs, and AI-powered IVR or conversational voice solutions while collaborating with Product Management, architects, and engineers.
• Advance engineering practices across automation, auditability, infrastructure as code, automated testing, data modeling, API development, query performance, concurrency control, and cloud-native delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers in prompting, context engineering, architecture, and critical review of AI output.
