Job summary

Dropzone AI, a 100% remote company, is building an autonomous investigation platform for cybersecurity. This Engineering Rapid Development role focuses on expanding SOC agents and ensuring readiness across customer environments.

You will design and code platform capabilities in Python, review AI-driven investigations, and collaborate with GTM and customer success to prioritize features. The role includes on-call duties and building secure, maintainable tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building, and maintaining security-focused software products or large-scale security tooling.
• Ability to produce clean, production-grade Python code.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools and agentic workflows.
• Experience delivering fixes that balance short-term product needs with long-term maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of platform capabilities and fixes for autonomous AI investigation agents.
• Evolve investigation logic to handle new security alerts while balancing accuracy and performance.
• Review AI investigations to identify improvements and translate insights into product enhancements.
• Collaborate with GTM and customer success to prioritize features that solve critical defender problems.
• Drive quality through automated testing, performance monitoring, and secure coding practices.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
• Write investigation flows and build integrations with security tools; fix customer pain points.
