Job summary

The Quality Group (TQG) is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to lead security for AI-based systems in a remote Germany setting. You will shape security requirements for AI-powered software, perform threat modeling, and guide DevSecOps practices across the stack.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, and fluency in German and English.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, or comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in Security Engineering, Application Security, Cloud Security, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and modern AI platforms; cloud experience (Azure/AWS/GC).
• Experience with threat modeling, security assessments, architecture reviews, and modern DevSecOps practices.
• Knowledge of AI security frameworks such as OWASP Top 10 for LLM, MITRE ATLAS, NIST AI RMF (or similar).
• Experience with AI Red Teaming, RAG, vector databases, agentic AI concepts, or ISO 27001/NIS2/EU AI Act.

Responsibilities

• Advise on and assess AI systems from a security perspective.
• Conduct AI threat modeling, risk assessments, security reviews, and architecture assessments.
• Develop Secure AI-by-Design and Security-by-Default principles and required AI security standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks like prompt injection, data leakage, model poisoning, adversarial attacks.
• Perform AI red teaming and technical security assessments for LLM platforms and AI integrations.
• Build automated security controls and integrate AI checks into DevSecOps, CI/CD, and MLOps.
• Establish monitoring and detection capabilities for AI apps; collaborate with Security Operations.
• Advise engineering, product, and business on secure AI use and rollout best practices.
