Job summary

CARE is seeking an AI Security Engineer to safeguard its AI systems, ML pipelines, and agentic AI deployments while embedding security into the AI development lifecycle.

You will lead threat modeling, red-team testing, and incident response for AI-related risks, coordinating with IT, data, legal, and program teams to enable responsible, secure AI adoption in CARE's humanitarian mission.

Responsibilities

• Assess and harden AI/ML models, APIs, and inference endpoints against adversarial attacks including prompt injection, model inversion, and data poisoning.
• Partner with engineering and IT teams to integrate security controls into the AI/ML development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain AI security policies, standards, and risk frameworks aligned with NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, OWASP LLM Top 10, and MITRE ATLAS.
• Lead or support incident response for AI-related security events including prompt injection attacks, model abuse, and data exfiltration through AI interfaces.
