Job summary

EY is seeking a Principal Architect for AI & Security to lead AI protection architecture across AI agents, copilot, and data products. The role translates business needs into scalable security architectures while guiding strategy and secure design decisions.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams, aligning with EY’s enterprise architecture, Zero Trust, risk, and compliance objectives, and present risk mitigations to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT, cybersecurity, or related technology domains.
• 7+ years architecture experience with enterprise-scale platforms.
• 5+ years AI-related development including security architecture and data protection.
• Experience leading architecture strategy, PoV efforts, and implementation planning for complex initiatives.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across AI, security, product, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI protection architecture for AI agents and GenAI applications.
• Drive strategy, target-state architecture, and security design decisions.
• Define standards across risk management, continuity, and security certifications.
• Define secure-by-design, Zero Trust, identity, and data protection controls.
• Lead architecture reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to embed AI protection into delivery.
• Present architecture recommendations and risk mitigations to senior leadership.
