Job summary

EY is seeking a Principal Architect for AI & Security to lead protection architecture across AI agents, copilots, and data products. You’ll translate business needs into scalable security patterns and guide technology decisions aligned with EY’s Zero Trust framework.

This role requires senior-level architecture experience and the ability to influence cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and security.

Qualifications

• Degree(s) required in CS/Engineering/Cybersecurity or AI-related field.
• 15+ years in IT, cybersecurity, or related domains.
• 7+ years in architecture for enterprise-scale platforms.
• 5+ years in AI-related development and AI security design.
• Experience leading architecture strategy and project planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI protection architecture for AI agents, copilot, and GenAI platforms.
• Define target-state architecture and security design decisions independently.
• Establish and govern security standards across risk, GRC, and compliance domains.
• Define secure-by-design principles and Zero Trust controls for AI ecosystems.
• Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and control mapping for AI solutions.
• Partner with engineering, product, data, and security teams to embed protection into delivery.
• Present architecture recommendations and risk mitigation plans to leadership.
