Job summary

EY in the United States seeks a Principal Architect for AI & Security to lead AI protection architecture across AI agents, agentic AI platforms, copilots, automation workflows, and data products. Translate business and technology needs into scalable security architectures, define protection patterns, and align with enterprise risk and Zero Trust.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, AI, Data Technology, or equivalent.
• 15+ years in IT, cybersecurity, app development, data platforms, AI platforms or related fields.
• 7+ years architecture experience on enterprise-scale platforms and security capabilities.
• 5+ years in AI-related development including security architecture and protection design.
• Experience leading architecture strategy, proofs-of-value, and complex security initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI protection architecture for AI agents, copilots, and data products.
• Drive strategy, target-state architecture, and security design decisions.
• Govern standards across GRC, risk, continuity, security certification, and platforms.
• Define UI/UX, workflow, and integration standards for secure interoperability.
• Define secure-by-design, Zero Trust, data protection, monitoring controls.
• Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and control mapping for AI solutions.
• Partner with EY Fabric, engineering, product, data, and platform teams.
• Design and govern AI protection capabilities across Microsoft Security, Purview, Defender, Sentinel, and Wiz.
• Develop protection standards, reference architectures, reusable patterns, and roadmaps.
• Present strategy, architecture recommendations, risks, and mitigations to leadership.
