Job summary

EY seeks a Principal Architect for AI & Security to lead AI protection architecture across AI agents, copilots, and data products. You will translate business needs into scalable security patterns, guide technology selection, and ensure alignment with enterprise risk and Zero Trust goals.

You will collaborate with EY Fabric, engineering, product, and data teams to embed AI protection into delivery, establishing standards across risk, compliance, and cybersecurity platforms.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, AI, Data Technology, or equivalent.
• 15+ years experience in IT/cybersecurity/AI platforms or related tech domains.
• 7+ years of architecture experience for enterprise-scale platforms and security.
• 5+ years in AI development with security architecture and protection solution design.
• Experience leading architecture strategy and technology evaluations for complex initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI protection architecture for AI agents, copilot, and AI platforms.
• Drive strategy, target-state architecture, and security design decisions.
• Define standards across risk management, security certification, and SCPs.
• Define UX/UI, workflow, and secure API interoperability standards.
• Define guardrail controls for AI platforms and agent ecosystems.
• Lead architecture reviews, threat modeling, risk assessments for AI solutions.
• Partner with EY Fabric and other teams to embed AI protection in delivery.
• Design and govern AI protection across Microsoft Security suite and related platforms.
• Develop reference architectures, patterns, and implementation roadmaps.
• Present strategy and risks to senior leadership and governance forums.
