Job summary

EY is seeking a Principal Architect for AI & Security within Information Security. You will lead AI protection architecture across agents, copilots, and data products, translating business needs into scalable security patterns and control requirements.

You will guide technology selection, define protection standards, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, Zero Trust, and compliance objectives. This role emphasizes independent leadership and stakeholder influence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, AI, Data Tech or equivalent.
• 15+ years in IT, cybersecurity, app dev, data platforms, AI platforms or related tech.
• 7+ years architecture experience for enterprise-scale platforms and security capabilities.
• 5+ years in AI-related development including security architecture, data/security, cloud security.
• Experience leading architecture strategy, PVP, evaluations, or implementation planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI protection architecture for AI agents and GenAI products.
• Drive strategy and security design decisions independently.
• Establish and govern standards across GRC, risk management, and security platforms.
• Define UX/UI, workflow, and integration standards for secure APIs.
• Define secure-by-design and Zero Trust controls for AI platforms.
• Lead architecture reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments.
• Partner with EY Fabric, engineering, product, data, and platform teams.
• Design and govern AI protection capabilities across major security platforms.
• Develop protection standards, reference architectures, reusable patterns.
• Present strategy and mitigation plans to senior leadership.
