Job summary

Pearson is seeking a strategic Lead Specialist- AI Scientist to design, build, deploy, and scale production AI/ML capabilities powering learner intelligence, knowledge graphs, recommendations, and personalized learning experiences across Pearson products.

You will bridge AI research, data science, software engineering, and product delivery, leading end-to-end AI delivery lifecycle, establishing scalable MLOps and governance, and collaborating with Product, Engineering, Design, Learning Science,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and deploying production AI/ML systems.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, or agentic AI solutions.
• Proficiency in Python, APIs, testing, CI/CD and production ops.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, deployment of production AI capabilities for learner intelligence and recommendations.
• Build reusable AI platform components and workflows to accelerate adoption across Pearson products.
• Own end‑to‑end AI delivery lifecycle from experimentation to production and optimization.
