Job summary

SSCI Solutions Division seeks a Senior Software Engineer to advance autonomy software for multi-vehicle robotics and to build simulations for demonstration and testing.

The role requires strong C++, Linux, and AI experience, familiarity with Nvidia Jetson, and the ability to work in a collaborative team on DoD-related projects; occasional travel is expected, with a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with modern C++, CMake, Git and dockerized development, CI/CD workflows.
• Experience in autonomy and AI for robotics, ML, planning/optimization, and autonomous uncrewed systems.
• Experience with Linux-based development and embedded platforms like NVIDIA Jetson.
• Experience with Agile, GitLab/GitHub, Confluence/Jira, and automated test methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for multi-vehicle autonomy in complex environments.
• Design, implement, and test autonomy software for embedded systems.
• Develop and run simulations for autonomous software.
• Present technical results to internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with team on integration-focused projects.
• Periodic travel may be required.
