Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• Strong background in deep learning with conceptual and practical depth.
• Knowledge of audio, video, or text processing is desirable.
• A proven publication record in major ML conferences is preferred.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one major DL framework (TensorFlow or PyTorch).

Responsibilities

• Partner with domain experts to refine Dolby’s AI/ML strategy.
• Use deep learning to create new solutions and improve existing ones.
• Push state-of-the-art and help develop intellectual property.
• Transfer technology to product groups and draft patent applications.
• Advise leaders on recent DL advancements to guide research directions.
