Dolby in the Atlanta area is seeking a Senior Multimodal AI Researcher to develop next-generation generative AI systems for immersive audio-visual experiences. You will operate at the intersection of deep learning, perceptual modeling, and media signal processing to create and render realistic content at scale.

The role spans foundational research to production deployment, with opportunities to publish, patent, and influence shipped technologies.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent research experience in multimodal AI, generative AI, CV or audio analysis.
• Demonstrated impact through publications or patents in top venues or industry.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++, with hands-on ML prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Design novel multimodal AI models for immersive audio-visual content creation and rendering.
• Blend deep learning with perceptual signal processing and quality metrics.
• Build prototypes and evaluate with objective metrics and perceptual tests.
• Collaborate with research and engineering teams to productionize solutions.
• Contribute to publications, patents, and tech transfer.
