Qualifications

Master’s or PhD in CS/ML/Statistics or equivalent experience.
6+ years of combined research and ML engineering experience.
Strong Python and ML framework proficiency (PyTorch or JAX).
Experience training, fine-tuning, and evaluating deep learning models at scale.
Experience taking ML models from research prototype to production with observability.
Familiarity with distributed training, mixed-precision training, and accelerator hardware.
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex methods clearly.
Ability to read, evaluate, and apply techniques from current research literature.

Responsibilities

Bridge research and production engineering to ship ML systems.
Design, implement, and evaluate ML models for high-impact business problems.
Own full lifecycle from problem framing and experimentation to deployment and continuous improvement.
Ensure observability and safeguards in production ML.
Stay current with AI research and apply findings across projects.
