Job summary

ManufacturingPartSpace is seeking an AI Developer to scale and enhance our production AI platform in Germany. You will design, train, and deploy ML models, focusing on computer vision, OCR, and data pipelines.

You will work with product and business teams to translate requirements into robust AI solutions. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of software development, strong Python skills, and a passion for practical AI.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Mathematics or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience delivering complex projects.
• Strong Python development skills (C++ a plus).
• Deep knowledge of ML models/algorithms (supervised, unsupervised, deep learning).
• Experience in computer vision; familiarity with OCR/document processing a plus.
• Ability to solve complex technical challenges and deploy to production.
• Motivated, structured, and reliable with ownership, capable of teamwork.
• Very good German and English skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure scalability, maintainability, and reliability of our data and AI pipeline.
• Develop and improve production-grade software systems.
• Participate in architecture decisions for clean, future-proof solutions.
• Design, train, and integrate ML models into production services (APIs/pipelines).
• Work on computer vision and graph neural networks for complex structures.
• Evaluate modern ML approaches and apply them pragmatically.
• Collaborate with product and business teams to translate requirements into AI solutions.
