Job summary

Moderna is seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to design, execute, and evolve adversarial simulations across digital, lab, and manufacturing environments, emphasizing AI-enabled attack surfaces.

You will build end-to-end red team campaigns, develop offensive toolchains, and collaborate with IR, Threat Intel, and Detection Engineering to translate findings into durable defenses and detections.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in cybersecurity with red teaming or adversary simulation.
• Experience conducting end-to-end attack chains across networks.
• Expertise in network pentesting, AD exploitation, cloud attacks.
• Experience with OT or lab-connected systems is a plus.
• Familiar with MITRE ATT&CK and offensive tooling.
• OPSEC discipline and stealth ops under blue team monitoring.
• Strong scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash/Go.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document red team operations across digital, physical, and hybrid environments.
• Develop and maintain offensive toolchains and frameworks.
• Conduct external-to-internal attack simulations.
• Collaborate with detection teams to measure time-to-detect and containment.
• Build custom scripts and exploits to simulate attacker TTPs.
• Lead post-operation debriefs with IR and Threat Intel.
• Advance red team maturity toward a continuous model.
