Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking an experienced Staff Red Teamer to join the Adversary Simulation Team. You will simulate advanced cyber attacks to test and improve the organization’s security posture, reporting to the Adversary Simulation Senior Manager and coordinating with SOC, Response, and other security teams.

The role requires deep offensive security knowledge, the ability to think like an adversary, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Defensive/Offensive Cyber Security.

Responsibilities

• Perform Red Team engagements including Stealth and Purple Teaming either individually or in a team.
• Simulate advanced cyber engagements to test the security posture of different NBCUniversal businesses and develop attack scenarios.
• Collaborate with blue team members in real time to identify and address security gaps.
• Summarize engagements with target scope, OSINT, actions, results and recommendations; deliver reports on time.
• Document testing progress, activity, and findings; compile technical reports and presentations for technical and executive audiences.
• Stay up-to-date on current attack vectors and expand Red Team techniques beyond common methods.
• Adjust work schedule based on engagement needs and travel if required.
• Explain vulnerabilities and mitigations to diverse audiences including clients and internal teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members across Red Teaming and Penetration Testing.
